Heath Killen is a designer, art director and the editor of Desktop magazine.
Heath has worked extensively over the years for arts and culture organisations, such as Tantrum Theatre, PACT Sydney, Sydney Festival and the Sydney Powerhouse Museum. Additionally, Heath is represented by the Jacky Winter agency, where he has created large and small scale illustrations for the likes of Tooheys, Smirnoff, GQ and Sony Playstation.
He has also developed a number of self-directed projects, such as the Dreamtime 79 poster series which was featured on blogs such as The Fox Is Black and Australian Infront, and Lost Films, which is available to purchase exclusively through the curated, on demand UK print shop Print Process.
2011 saw Heath work as senior digital designer at The Nest in Sydney, and in 2012 he took over the role of editor at Desktop, Australia’s premier design magazine.
Heath will be taking part in the LH Masterclass and the Friday Design Panel at the Newcastle Art Gallery.
